Medialab Overview
Medialab are the UK's leading independent media planning, buying and data agency. As we continue our incredible growth journey, we are looking to hire a new Account Director that will sit within one of our Client Planning teams.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Account Director will report into the Business Director and will be line managing an Account Manager, as well as working closely with the wider team that with this new hire will grow to 10. The role will be client leading, and will be responsible for the day-to-day of the accounts that span across Financial Services, Charities and Retail. They all cover a range of media channels. Ideally, the candidate will be fairly channel agnostic,
with strong planning and strategy skills.
2025 will be an exciting time for our Financial Services client particularly, as they roll out their new brand platform. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to own and lead this alongside the rest of the team. Our charity brand will also be launching their new brand campaign in the new year.

The role will be varied, with a mixture of performance and brand planning required, and across all areas of media:
1. Digital
2. TVAV
3. Audio
4. OOH
5. Print channels
6. Partnerships
It's a great chance to make a mark on some of the agency's biggest clients, during a critical period for long-term growth.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Holistic planning and strategy experience
- Media planning skills, from briefing stage to delivery of campaign
- Excellent client leadership and relationships
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lead a team day-to-day and help them develop
